To prevent the accumulation of high levels of waste Nitrous
Oxide in small-enclosed areas such as ambulances, a
Scavenger adapter is available. The dual purpose, OTwo
Medical Technologies Scavenger/PEEP Adapter is
designed to scavenge exhaled air from the patient during
inhalation analgesia (Entonox®).
The Scavenger adapter is comprised of an adapter that
replaces the standard Patient Valve Swivel Housing of the
Equinox® II Administration System Demand Valve. When
attached to the Equinox® II Demand Valve and the mask sealed properly to the patient’s
face, the patient’s exhaled breath can be scavenged from the exhalation valve and
routes exhaled gases (including the waste Nitrous Oxide) to the exhaust method
chosen by the facility using the device.
The 19mm/30mm exhalation port meets the requirements of the International Standards
for Conical connectors for Low Pressure Medical Gas systems and will allow the
attachment of corrugated tubing.

Western Canada:1-3 business days for major cities, 5-7 business days for rural areas
Eastern Canada: 4-7 business days for major cities, 7-10 business days for rural areas
Yukon, Nunavut and NWT: 10-15 business days

If any item(s) on your order are on backorder, we will ship out the items that are in stock first. When the backordered item(s) become available, we will send a second complete shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
