Metrex MetriCide™ 28 High Level Disinfectant

MetriCide™ 28 is a long-life, 2.5% buffered glutaraldehyde that can be used and reused as a sterilant and high-level disinfectant for up to 28 days. MetriCide™ 28 must maintain the minimum effective concentration (MEC) level of 1.8% glutaraldehyde or greater during the 28-day use life to effectively sterilize and high-level disinfect. It is recommended to test the glutaraldehyde solution prior to each use to help prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Turnaround & Regional Delivery Estimates

Once your order has been confirmed and if the product is in stock, it will ship out within 1-2 business days. Generally, delivery times are as follows:

Local Calgary: 1-2 business days
Western Canada:1-3 business days for major cities, 5-7 business days for rural areas
Eastern Canada: 4-7 business days for major cities, 7-10 business days for rural areas
Yukon, Nunavut and NWT: 10-15 business days

If any item(s) on your order are on backorder, we will ship out the items that are in stock first. When the backordered item(s) become available, we will send a second complete shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
