Description

The Ambu Disposable PEEP Valve (#199002020 / 20 per box) features a 1.1811" (30 mm) connection that fits to all Ambu Mark IV, Oval Silicone, and SPUR II resuscitators and an 0.708661" (18 mm) connection that fits to the Silicone Infant and “old” Ambu Baby R.

The Ambu Disposable PEEP Valve is designed to provide unique resistance characteristics when used with manual resuscitators, ventilators, anesthesia machines (where specified by the manufacturer), and CPAP systems. Capable of being fitted directly to the patient valve of any Ambu resuscitator without additional connectors and being repeatedly autoclaved at 134 °Celsius, Ambu PEEP Valves can also be used in an MR environment. However, the static magnetic field must be 3 Tesla or less and the highest spatial gradient field can only be 720-Gauss/CM or less. The PEEP Valve is not intended to be in direct contact with a patient undergoing a MR procedure.
