Conventional syringes

BD conventional syringes are available with and without an attached needle. BD syringe-needle combinations feature a clear barrel with a bold scale. Disposable syringes with a BD Luer-Lok™ tip, luer slip tip or eccentric luer slip tip can be fitted with either a conventional needle or safety needle.

BD Luer-Lok tip
Our BD Luer-Lok tip is generally used for injections requiring a secure connection of the syringe to another device.

Luer slip tip
Our luer slip tip provides a friction-fit connection that requires you to push and twist the syringe tip into the needle hub.

Eccentric luer slip tip
The eccentric luer slip tip is generally used for venipunctures and aspirational fluids, allowing close proximity to the skin.

Catheter tip
The catheter tip is used for flushing catheters, gastostomy tubes and other devices.

Turnaround & Regional Delivery Estimates

Once your order has been confirmed and if the product is in stock, it will ship out within 1-2 business days. Generally, delivery times are as follows:

Local Calgary: 1-2 business days
Western Canada:1-3 business days for major cities, 5-7 business days for rural areas
Eastern Canada: 4-7 business days for major cities, 7-10 business days for rural areas
Yukon, Nunavut and NWT: 10-15 business days

Shipping Rates

If orders don’t meet minimum threshold, we offer flat shipping rates on most orders that are determined based on province. Prepaid rates are determined before any GST or taxes.

Backorders

If any item(s) on your order are on backorder, we will ship out the items that are in stock first. When the backordered item(s) become available, we will send a second complete shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
